Reference¶
The reference is where you look up what a component is and how to use it — every field, its units, its default, what it does physically, and how it shows up in the viewport. Where Concepts explains why, the reference is the what: one page per component, organized by group.
Planned groups:
- Model basics — Node, Rigid Body (and shape primitives).
- Joints — a DOF-removed/DOF-left overview, then one page per joint type (Clamp, Revolute, Prismatic, Spherical, In-Line, Cylindrical, Fixed/Weld, Planar, Axial Rotation).
- Springs & Loads — Spring/Damper/Spring-Damper, Force, Torque, Gravity.
- Markers & Requests — Marker, and the five Request types.
- Simulation settings, plus the shared drive-law and constitutive-law tables every load and spring draws on.
